win the election = 凍蒜 (台語:當選)

我希望我支持的政黨獲勝!
OR I hope the political party I support is in power after the election.
我希望我支持的政黨執政。
3. The media is suffering from election fever.
You can't switch the TV on without being bombarded by political pundits.
媒體近期都感染了選舉熱。你一開電視就會被名嘴們轟炸阿~~~
